The Physiotherapy team consists of 14 staff including 2 Allied Health Assistants. The Physiotherapists work closely with the Exercise Physiologists and with the wider clinical community to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to care. Physiotherapists at Djerriwarrh work across a variety of clinical areas including but not limited to:
- Fall's Prevention
- Chronic Disease Management
- Acute services
- Group interventions
We offer a supportive environment to learn and develop both clinical and non-clinical skills. The successful applicant will be required to work across both Bacchus Marsh and Melton campuses.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team you will be responsible for providing excellent physiotherapy care from assessment through to discharge. In consultation with the patient and / or carer, you will develop shared health goals.
You must have:
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
- High quality assessment, clinical reasoning and treatment skills
- Understanding of patient-centred care, and experience in implementing and evaluating care plans for patients
- Strong team approach and excellent communication skills
Djerriwarrh Health Services is a dynamic and rapidly expanding public health service providing acute, community, maternity and Aged Care to the City of Melton and Shire of Moorabool in Melbourne's Western suburbs.
