Our Health Service is seeking the services of skilled and motivated Midwives and Nurses to join our amazing team providing services to the families and individuals in our community.

The Role

The rare opportunity to join a newly established facility in our Special Care Nursery amongst some of the most experienced colleagues in the state, is a chance you simply can't walk past.

Shifts come in a variety of shapes and sizes we will be flexible and your availability can be negotiated with your NUM.

The successful applicant will act as a clinical and professional resource person demonstrating broad knowledge and clinical expertise in all facets of Midwifery & Neonatal Nursing. These positions will allow you to work in the most advanced and newest maternity ward in Melbourne.

Applicants must have:

  • Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Midwife
  • Special Care Nursery Experience / Qualification
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Competency
  • A fantastic attitude and dedication to the profession

About Us

Djerriwarrh Health Services is a dynamic and rapidly expanding public health service providing Acute, Community, Maternity and Aged Care to the City of Melton and Shire of Moorabool in Melbourne's Western suburbs.

This role, based at the Bacchus Marsh Hospital campus, will allow for a short commute from the bustling CBD to a centrally located facility close to public transport, local cafes, artisan shops, weekend getaways, vineyards and parkways.

The successful applicant will be required to have undergo pre-employment suitability screening including: a current police check, working with children and Australian work rights. Regretfully, Djerriwarrh is unable to offer sponsorship.
