Our Health Service is seeking the services of skilled and motivated Registered Midwives and SCN trained RN's or RM's to join our amazing team providing a high standard of care in our Maternity Unit.

The role:

The RM/RN will provide and promote a high standard of care for patients whilst supporting the ongoing development of the Maternity Service.

The successful applicant will have a strong and diverse clinical background, demonstrating broad knowledge and clinical expertise in all facets of Midwifery or Special Care Nursery experience. The role will allow you to work in one of the most advanced and newest maternity wards in Melbourne.

Shifts come in a variety of shapes and sizes we will be flexible and your availability can be negotiated with your Manager.

The successful applicant will act as a clinical and professional resource person demonstrating broad knowledge and clinical expertise in all facets of Midwifery.

Applicants must have:

  • Current unrestricted AHPRA registration as a Midwife
  • Strong clinical background working across continuum of maternity care
  • Special Care Nursery Certificate desirable
  • A fantastic attitude and dedication to the profession. Excellent communication skills

About us:

Djerriwarrh Health Services is a dynamic and rapidly expanding public health service providing Acute, Community, Maternity and Aged Care to the City of Melton and Shire of Moorabool in Melbourne's Western suburbs.

This role, based at the Bacchus Marsh Hospital campus, will allow for a short commute from the bustling CBD to a centrally located facility close to public transport, local cafes, artisan shops, weekend getaways, vineyards and parkways.

The successful applicant will be required to have undergo pre-employment suitability screening including: a current police check, working with children and Australian work rights. Regretfully, Djerriwarrh is unable to offer sponsorship.
