The Outpatient Rehabilitation Team is a multidisciplinary team providing Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Social Work and Allied Health Assistant services. The program focuses on providing a multidisciplinary approach to those following neurological events, complex needs, rehabilitation and post-operative orthopaedic care. Our services include both one to one interventions and group programs to improve the lives of our patients.
We are seeking a suitably qualified physiotherapist to take a primary clinical role in providing assessment and rehabilitation services for patients presenting with neurological conditions. The role will also be required to support clinical services for other physiotherapy referrals including orthopaedic and cardiac/pulmonary rehabilitation, dependent on referrals and caseload demands.
The successful applicant will provide clinical support/supervision to Grade 1 Physiotherapists and students on placement at DjHS.

You must have:
- Tertiary qualification in Physiotherapy
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Postgraduate qualification in neurological rehabilitation (desirable)
- High-quality assessment, clinical reasoning and treatment skills
- Understanding of patient-centred care, and experience in implementing and evaluating care plans for patients
- Experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting
- Strong team approach and excellent communication skills
